Terms of Service - ExiQ Cost Studio

1. Account and Access

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and protecting your credentials. Access to desktop modules, downloads, reports, and enterprise features may depend on the membership or entitlement assigned to your account.

2. Permitted Use

You may use ExiQ websites and applications for internal sourcing, estimating, engineering, procurement, consulting, and business evaluation workflows. You may not misuse the services, bypass controls, interfere with hosted systems, or use the software to build a competing product.

3. Desktop Purchases and Enterprise Access

The $499/year full desktop version is intended to be purchased through Microsoft Store in-app purchase. Advisory, consulting, enterprise licensing, and custom access are arranged directly with ExiQ and may be subject to separate written terms.

4. User Data and Local Files

Desktop project data may be stored locally on the user's machine unless exported, uploaded, or shared by the user. You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, backup, and handling of files or data you enter into ExiQ workflows.

5. No Professional or Pricing Warranty

ExiQ outputs, including should-cost estimates, savings signals, supplier comparisons, and market assumptions, are decision-support tools. They do not replace professional judgment, supplier validation, contract review, or market verification.

6. Intellectual Property

ExiQ websites, software, workflows, designs, documentation, templates, and related intellectual property belong to ExiQ or its licensors. No rights are granted except the limited right to use the services as permitted by these Terms.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
